Music has an immense power to take us from one place to another - both emotionally and spiritually. When composing, my vision is to tell a story within a carefully constructed musical universe.

About Me

Tamir Kedem is an Israeli composer. His compositional work focuses on film scoring, media, and visual art. Tamir has developed a unique and personal compositional practice. He creates a story within a carefully constructed musical universe. 

​

He studied at the Center for Jazz Studies in Israel.
Following his studies, Tamir attended The California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in Los Angeles to pursue his BFA in Jazz Piano.

After recording and touring throughout the US, Tamir started to center on composing for media, film , and visual arts.

 

Tamir’s works is featured in films which were screened in film festivals and theaters around the globe. Music he wrote for art projects were presented in international exhibitions.

 

Tamir is the recipient of the Disney scholarship from CalArts, and the Artist Grant from The Anton Yelchin Foundation in 2019.
